ERP Communication Automation
Automating the distribution of business documents to the correct individual is a
key component to helping cut costs. Distributing documents in an automated
fashion removes the time required to print, collate, stuff envelopes, and postage. These cost
savings can help you to meet the demands of business.
CodaBears’ CodaCom product handles the key business functions of Order
Confirmations, Shipping Notifications, and Customer Invoices. Future
versions of the software will offer Quotations, Purchase Orders,
RFQs, RMAs and DMRs - all upgrades are included with a maintenance plan.
The CodaBears CodaCom software package automates document delivery. The customer
and vendor contact
records in the ERP system are use for the communications. These contacts
can be set for Fax, Print, and/or eMail.
e-Mail
A contact that has been marked to receive documentation electronically will receive
an e-Mail message with the document attached as a PDF document.
Fax
Documents are converted to fax format and then sent to the contact's stored fax
number via T34/T37 email to fax service.
Print
Documents generated for contacts that have no email or fax information are sent
to a printer. The user will be prompted as to which printer to use.
These docuemnts can then be personally delivered or mailed to the contact.
CodaLink*
CodaLink is a CodaCom add-on and can be setup in conjunction with the
configuration. The CodaLink package automatically makes entries into the
base Document Management system. CodaLink will store a copy of the pdf
document into your file-based or SharePoint document repository and make the
respective entries into the database to link the file.

Easy to install
The ease of installation and use is one of the most important factors. CodaCom installation
support is included with the software and generally takes 1-2 hours to install
and configure.
Easy to use
After creating an item, the user clicks on the CodaCom button added to the
standard print dialog window. The CodaCom utility will convert the business form
to a pdf file, look up the contact's communication setting and either email, fax,
and/or print the document accordingly. This does not replace the printing
functions of your ERP system - it simply enhances the user experience for sending
out documents. In conjunctions with the CodaLink* option, entries can be
made to your Document Management sub-system.
Easy to Maintain
The CodaCom configuration file is simple to maintain and supports
