One area addressed time and again is the lack of clarity for inventory transactions when the posting engine runs in Epicor 9 or 10. Having a description of “Periodic Posting Process” doesn’t give the full details of what actually happened with the transaction. For further information, the user must drill into each transaction to determine what actually occurred.
Instead, you can use custom posting rules to give your team more information on the inventory (and other) transactions. Here’s an example of the difference between standard and customized posting rules.
